Canadian Business Hall of Fame and Knightsbridge Team Up on the Talent Crisis

As of July 1st, 2007, Knightsbridge has entered into a strategic partnership with The Canadian Business Hall of Fame. The collaboration is based on the shared principles of understanding and building leadership capabilities within Canada’s business community and engaging our next generation of leaders in research, education and networking events.

A Shared Vision - Bridging the Leadership Gap

The single common issue all businesses in Canada share is that of a diminishing available workforce. Demand is outpacing supply with an entire generation of employees approaching the age of retirement. In addition, those entering the workforce today need to be prepared with the knowledge, skills and attitudes that an innovative and productive economy demands. Designed to capitalize on the knowledge and experience of Canada's business leaders, the initiatives will engage and educate the coming generations about the opportunities available to them and the role they can play in ensuring Canada's continued economic growth through business.

As part of the partnership, Knightsbridge manages the annual BHF Laureate nominations and selection process, as well as numerous year-round university research, educational and networking initiatives.

About The Canadian Business Hall of Fame

Established by Junior Achievement of Canada in 1979, The Canadian Business Hall of Fame celebrates the outstanding achievements of Canada's most distinguished business leaders, past and present. Over 147 members of The Canadian Business Hall of Fame currently serve as inspiring examples for all young Canadians and are featured in a rotating display in the Allen Lambert Galleria located at BCE Place in Toronto, Ontario.

The annual awards Gala is a fundraising event in support of Junior Achievement of Canada and recognizes Canadian business excellence by honouring leading businessmen and women, past and present, for their outstanding achievements in business and contributions to Canadian society. Nominated by their peers, inductees are chosen by an independent selection committee representing Canada's foremost business, academic and media institutions.
