Leslie Carter joined the Executive Team in October 2009. She is responsible for the company marketing strategies, initiatives, and capabilities; including communications, sponsorships and events, and customer relationship marketing.
Leslie graduated from the University of Toronto in 1991 with a B. Comm in Marketing and Finance. After graduating she joined Kraft Canada, where she held a number of brand management positions. In 1995, Leslie joined Pepsi-Cola Canada as Marketing Manager, Corporate Research and Promotions. In 2002, she left Pepsi to join Cara Operations as Director of Marketing for Swiss Chalet restaurants, and later V.P. of Marketing for Harvey’s.
Leslie left Cara in 2007 to spend more time with her children and started her own consulting business, Brand-Aide, focused on marketing measurement and effectiveness. Her interest in this area led her to rejoin corporate life as Executive Director of Corporate Marketing at Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG), responsible for organization’s corporate marketing initiatives, market and customer insight, and measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization’s marketing spend. She held this position until she was given the opportunity to join Knightsbridge; a company she greatly admires and has watched grow.
